|  Tom Morello confirmed 2nd boss

Rumored earlier in the week by a German brochure (reportedly from publisher Activision), Morello's appearance was confirmed today via a Rolling Stone blog post, in which the guitarist admitted that his real-life skills don't necessarily carry over when he plays the game.
"Whenever I play Guitar Hero my opponent always kicks my ass on my own riffs," said Morello. "It's embarrassing. Now that I'm actually in the game I hope the digital me will win once in a while!"
Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock will hit retail in November for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii, and PlayStation 2.

I dont really agree with this, morello is good but there are others better, names that come to mind are eddie van halen, eric clapton, angus young, jimmy page and also jimi hendrix, cant forget him, even though hes kinda portrayed by xavier stone. Any of those to me would be better choices, but whatever I guess it will be fun to hear some more funky guitar noises!

Your list of players are all probably technically more proficient, but only 5 are really legend-worthy. Satch and Malmsteen are incredible shredders but have no soul. On the exact opposite side of the spectrum are players like Clapton and Gilmour (who you didn't list for some reason) who aren't technically the greatest guitarists but their soul shines through. | |

I have to agree with you Yngwie Malmsteen and Herman li there shredders with no soul. But for a Guitar hero game... i want that shredding challenge. otherwise i agree with you 100%. Hell throw them in there to and make it a big "soul fest" lol. | |
