Most of the others I haven't heard, don't recognize by the name, or don't care about. I really wish these games would end up with some of the bigger radio hits or "the song" the artist is known for. I know some of these are, but for Aerosmith for example, there are much better songs I would prefer to see. Glad to see Dead or Alive on there, I love that song, even after all these years.

But whatev, I'm very satisfied, but for some reason, I don't think this is finalized (as these were basically the songs everyone knew about already). But keep talking shit guys...while you're all still playing the same 50 songs on GH, I'll be enjoying full album downloads (The Who, Metallica, etc...) and not to mention the bands who did a lot of the bonus songs are sticking with Harmonix, and IMO (and the only songs I still play on 2), those are the best songs in the game.

I've probably heard Gimme Shelter, I'm just not a big Stones fan. I like some of their music and I respect them for their accomplishments, I simply don't listen to them.

Actually Tom, if you're ambitious enough, you should edit in youtube links for all these songs or something, just embed the link into the song name? So we can listen to the ones we aren't sure about. I know I'll be attempting to listen to these to get familiar with the ones I don't know well enough. It would be nice to have them all in one spot!

Agreed.Appreciation for true musical talent is really needed to see how good the song choices really are.Guitar Hero focuses on more of what would be a difficult song to play on Guitar while Rock Band is going for the full package.I know the guitar parts in Rock Band will be much easier to play (for the most part) but being able to perform all instruments online with 3 friends will be fun as hell.I'm really excited about this game and I know Mtv will have no shortage of musical support for future downloads and in the end they will have much more content to give this game the longevity that Guitar Hero won't have.
