0GS achievements have been used in the past when you try to get achievements by using cheats, then it locks you out of getting any achievements for the rest of the game. It was used as a cheater mark.
I don't remember what game that was in.. one of my buddies from Red Storm told me about it, I think it was a marvel game...
But still, that's dumb.
