Nah man in all seriousness... It's really not fair to judge what my friend's musical tastes are. He likes what he likes. He says he likes Tool because it's not boring to play on the drums like many many songs are. Their originals pull from styles of Alice in Chains, Rage Against the Machine, Tool, and many more. He is a good drummer who takes pride in his art. His Ayotte kit isn't the run of the mill set that average drummers tend to play on. Although I'm not fond of his Orange County snare. It plays hell in small places when they play gigs.

and in all serious on my part i was kidding.. Tool's bad but by listening to them i can see why their songs would be fun to play for your friend . I wasnt judging your friends taste really anyway.. i said Tool sucks thats one band and as a musician i imagine he has TONSS of bands he likes. And yeah i have a good friend who drums too. not really in a band persay right now but damn he can raise hell in his garage haha

I was thinking more like 46 & 2 would be fun for drummers and bassists, I'd like to try Stinkfist on a few instruments, and what about Jambi for a few as well... lol (yea I like some songs myself.. mainly because they bring back first couple of times to strip clubs...lol)

What I'd really like for drums would be In the Air Tonight... I wouldn't care if it was Phil Collins version or Nonpoint's... some 7dust would be sweet too.

I normally don't brag but I tried a few songs in both Wal-Marts here on expert with the drums. I have been drumming in real life for about 10 years and was bored with each song I tried. Maybe I coincidentally tried some of the easier songs, but I decided not to buy it at that point. GH3 is a much bigger challenge in my opinion, I don't want a game that I can pick up and play on the hardest difficulty. That, and the fact that there is about a 1/16th note worth of lag on the drumkit which is frustrating for real drummers.
