I read that it was confirmed on another link but this is just f*cken stupid. They said the reason was because they have to translate the booklet to have french in it. Just because you push the pile of sh*t under a rug doesn't mean people won't smell it.

I've heard the actual theory is that they redirected the shipments back to the US to meet their needs. If rockband gets pushed back till 2008, Im getting my money back and buying a game that is already out. I don't need this game that badly, and is actually aggrovating me -.-

Why not give the money to an American and they send it to you? Sounds easy!

If that's the reason it really should have been only pushed back in Quebec and other french speaking areas. It shouldn't have been all over the country.

I was also looking forward to getting it at some point. When I heard we weren't getting it at launch I was turned off anyway. Then I heard the date got pushed back a couple of times and now that it's after Christmas, they can keep their game. Add in the rumor of the $199 price tag (Not Harmonix's decision, apparently Canadian retailers plan to add $30 to the MSRP.) and I'm not interested at all anymore. You can keep your game.

true, but I've had times where I've got things from the US and had to pay a brokerage fee and almost died -.-

plus I don't know anyone really good enough in the states to give over $200 (shipping).

I know I said I don't need it but it still aggrovates me for some reason... I think its mainly because they keep pushing it back and the rest of the world has it. Thats probably what gets me.

Glad you haven't heard of being angry/frustrated. I know you've never been that even though you put a $ everytime you say MS yes you still bought their product for quite a long time and post on a forum dedicated to their product and probably use a computer that is from MS. Now that is fucking stupid...

edit: And yes, lets release it to US but not Canada at the same time mainly because they are so far apart because they're trying to make it perfect for canada and not the rest of the world. edit edit: Ebay, I said before I've been hit with brokerage fees before for the exact same amount that the product cost me. I've also not been charged with it. So lets pay near $200, pay for shipping, possibly pay for a brokerage fee and then by the time it gets here it gets released. Ok Angel has got me more frustrated than the game.

I can live without the game, but what frustrats me is that Canada gets a big delay on the game when the people below us have it and thats where its produced too. So they ship it around the world perfectly having more stricter laws for international trading, but you cant ship it to canada? They don't even give an explanation? You know what the reason was? People say its either because they didnt translate the instruction book (obv takes more than a month) OR that the US didn't have enough copies. Now to me both sound stupid as hell because translating a book doesn't take that long. I've seen people translate entire games in less than a month. Not producing enough copies for the US.... the dollar is practically the same, whats the point? Why recieve ZERO sales from a country?
