It is usually the yellow pad or the foot pedal. Bolth are easy to spot. The foot pedal usually just breaks in half or wont spring anymore. The yellow pad will stop registering hits sometimes and thats when you know you have a problem. There is an article in the new OXM on how to fix broken RB instruments. But if you do it yourself you cannot send it in to get it fixed. So send them in if you think you have a prob.
You should phone to see if they have any anywhere. I know around 10 people that got it, including myself, so far. They had like 5 left when I got mine too at Walmart.
