Terrible game play.....imo just wait for the next mortal kombat to come out cause this one is not worth buying.....

I think the ways the combos are set up is stupid for the majority of them you have to press 2 buttons at the same time with a direction and the longest ones are like 3 buttons pressed in a row, you can't control your player jumping computer sucks even on the hardest mode you can just block and grab and win. and there is no story line whatsoever.

- Turtling is countered with CF's. If you are having problems with someone doing that then punish them with a flashy instant kill.

- If the game is easy then try beating the ToS.

- Does any fighting game have a good story? Street Fighter? DoA? VF? MK? It's a moot point with fighting games. It's like saying a MMO lacks focus or direction.

I like the Tekken little mini vids. It's cool how Haihachi, Yakuza, Jin, and other characters are in one big family. Anyways, I'm thinking about getting this game today, still debating on whether to buy or rent.

At first I thought this game was bullshit, coming from SC2 (I didn't play SC3) to SC4 the game plays so much slower. Also they changed (more so nerfed) alot of characters, I also really don't like how they seemingly split old-school nightmare between two people (Seigfried & Nightmare). Mitsurugi was my main back in SC2 days but now he's pretty shitty so I was mad about that, but I adapted and picked up on Siegfried and he's fucking rape. I'm now pretty much addicted to this games online mode, it's so fucking fun kicking peoples asses. Alot of kids just spam shit with quick characters and that pisses me off but once you get their ryhthm down it's easy to beat them. The new CF pisses me off cause I don't really know how to execute one and from what I hear it's pretty hard.

Eitherway I love this game, I didn't plan on buying it but my bro works at Best Buy and apparently they made a mistake with the customer discounts so SC4's Premium edition came out to 33$ instead of the usual 70+Tax, so it's a complete steal.
