Overcharting? Thats what made the game fun. Plus they have said this game isn't even going to be close to as hard as GH3 was(which it wasn't even hard. They should have made a harder difficulty for the better players who like the overchartedness...

Bass Battles have been completely revamped. No longer are there powerups, it is just who plays better now.

If there wasn't multiple songs by same artists it still would have more songs on disc than Rock Band 1 or 2.

You don't even know what the DLC is. They said they will be releaing more than they were in GH3 but still not as much as RB. RB releases 1 good track every 3 months, I'd rather play GH and have the DLC once a month that is good. If it isn't the next months will be good. RB just does crap week after week.

Overcharting sucks. Period. Sorry, but I'll take my fake music playing to be as realistic as possible. This was also my argument against DDR players, being a Pump player...I actually enjoy rhythm in my rhythm games...no mindless button mashing or foot stomping.

Big deal...more songs...wow. Just like GH3 has more songs than 2...and of those, maybe 5 were worth playing more than once. So bragging about quantity over quality means nothing to me.

Also, "good" is subjective...you might not like Jimmy Buffet or PATD, but I do...those are "good" songs to me...just because it doesn't have endless walls of frets while mindlessly strumming doesn't mean people don't like them.

It's entirely different style of game...and the fact you can't realize that, it's kinda sad. But know this, Guitar Hero now has to live with being a Rock Band ripoff. Harmonix perfected the whole band game...Neversoft/Activision stole it. That goes for you too Snix...kinda surprised you even pulled that card...you should know better...

Nah, I know lol I was just doing it for lulz with Sheik, I like both Rockband and Guitar Hero, just waiting until World Tour launches before I decide which bundle to get and which stand alone to get, but its true though the games are completely different in a sense.... These are two different games made by two different companies people need to accept that and really the only thing keeping Guitar Hero big is the celebs promoting it and having their image in the game and it doesnt help Harmonix selling the name, the name is what gets the sales. When I hear the word from the casuals most of them don't even know Rockband exists they say things like "Guitar Hero is finally getting drums that's sooooo awesome" they don't realize Rockband did that, instead those people should be praising World Tour's music editor because really that's the only thing that is new step up being brought to these music games.

The main thing that turns me from Rockband is I can't calibrate it correctly on my TV so my combos fuck up when its something I can easily pull off.

Well I didn't mean overcharted since game isn't. It is just poorly charted but that makes it fun. I like to play fun over realistic. I don't wanna play realtar. Only real overcharting is when you play some synth or bass on tracks where there is blank guitar in some parts. That is overcharting I guess but even RB does that.

Well to me the quality is also good. Rock Band 2 has not many songs, and the quality is shit. 80/84 tracks in WT I love, so that's fine for me.

I like them, but I don't like playing them. To me those bore me and put me to sleep but I love listening to it. I only like playing Rock Band when I am drunk and with friends, game is a blast that way. But I am a competitor, there is no competition on that game It is all on GH so I prefer that. I was just saying that towards myself not other people.

I can't realize that? Wut? Guitar Hero won't be living with that fact at all. That's just like saying they would be known for ripping off Guitar Hero 1 + 2 after Harmonix perfected those. They would have to be stupid to not include the other instruments. The market wants full band games now, if they just did guitar games they wouldn't be in business for long. I do think they should change the name... but GH is known by all so they will leave it. Now Konami's Rock Revolution on the other hand, that is a Rock Band Ripoff!
