|  Anybody got Burnout Paradise?
How is this game? Is it worth the money? Did they get rid of the long drawn out collision game where the whole point was to launch into traffic and slide your car around in slow motion? |

The game's pretty much worth it if you're a fan of the series and/or you liked the demo.
They did get rid of Crash Mode, but it's been replaced by Showtime, which isn't manditory to advance through you lincenses (ranking so to say, you go from Leaners Permit, D, C, B, A, Burnout then Elite license).
Anything else you need to know, just ask me, since I already got the Burnout license and I'm about 90% done with the game.

sounds good, i always hated crash mode b/c it was so boring and drawn out. but if it is not mandatory then that sounds better. I might have to check it out. the demo was alright to me (didn't play online) so I might give it a shot. | |

i know this is a little old but are the cars customizable? i havent plaed burnout since one of the first ones on the PS2 and i played the paradise demo. its fun but idk if id like it if there was no real customizable options

The only thing that's customizable is the paint jobs really. Other than that if you complete Burning Route events for your cars you get a modified version of it. Pretty cool actually.

Yeah that game is really awesome and the best yet in the Burnout series. The online component is flawless and seamless. All you do is hit right on the D-pad three times and you are in. | |
