I agree with LuvPurple and Snix, it's your choice of having abortion or not and having a baby at a moment where you don't have the financial support needed to raise a kid in all categories including food, education, clothing, entertainment, as well as expenses for yourself is a decision for you to decide. | |

I can't moralistically support pro-life. Like it's already been said somewhere here, a fetus is not a child. It's not living until it develops.
But that's not the point.
What if a girl gets pregnant if she doesn't want to or intend to? it happens all the time. If you force a woman not to have an abortion, what kind of situation do you put her, her child, and her immediate family in?
You create a dysfunctional family. The mother has to stop her life plans to raise a baby without significant income, a home, and in most cases, a husband. I think we've all seen those kids who are screwed up in the head because his or her mom got pregnant when she was sixteen. You don't have to look far to find a suicidal kid with personality disorders from having a wreck of a mother and no father without a real home. It's not hard to see what happens when a needed abortion doesn't happen.
So what's worse: Preventing a child's life, or ruining the lives of an entire family? You can agree or disagree between the two evils, but that's why it's called "pro-choice."

Iunno if this was stated before, but I'm sure there is no one that "Supports" abortion. It's a terrible thing.
I, for one, support woman's rights. It's her body, and the fetus is fully dependent on her existence.
Also, more focus needs to be on safe sex practices, not abstinence. | |
