Oblivion's combat system is very influential to the outcome of a fight, and if your difficulty slider isn't all the way up, it boils down to an action game in some sense. I'll give you guys that.
But in Morrowind, the stats of your character and your enemy determine everything. Fights pretty much go down by you clicking on the target, and everything gets calculated from there. A low level character won't even be able to inflict melee damage on a high level enemy with high endurance or agility stats without using expensive enchantments or buff spells, and a low level magic character isn't able to cast spells strong enough to damage high level enemy with a high willpower stat. Everything else you do in the game is also determined by your levels, even the way people talk to you. I don't know how it being first person stops it from being an RPG. | |

Well I think Dark may have gotten Warcraft confused with World of Warcraft.WoW is an RPG and Warcraft is an RTS so it would be easy to confuse them.Anyways imo Chrono Trigger was the best RPG ever made as far as turn based rpg's go.As far as action rpg's I would have to say Ocarina of Time. | |
