Ive never played FF, so for me its KOTOR1 and KOTOR2
I completely forgot about the Knights of the Old republic games.They were both great games and would be at the top of my list of best RPG's.I hope Mass Effect can live up to the high standards set from Bioware on those games as well as Jade Empire which was an amazing action/rpg.With all the great new games coming out it will be interesting to see if anything can be as good as the 8 and 16 bit classics like Final Fantasy and Chrono Trigger.Better tech doesn't always mean better games.

Dont exepct a high Gamer Score, Just got my xbox back from the red light situation.
For me I'd have to say that Chrono Cross and Chrono Trigger were just insanely good. You can't even compare any RPG to that series. I mean it was a blast playing them. They were infused with a mind boggeling story line and amazing songs and stuff.
