Portfolio Value: 0.000 Gain/Loss: 0.000 | I think that Two-Worlds is probably going to top Oblivion in this category. Looks pretty awesome. So far, it's the Elder Scrolls Series. |

Portfolio Value: 0.000 Gain/Loss: 0.000 | What about the final fantasy series.
And you can't be serious with two worlds...
Are we going by popularity, or the overall best? Because even though I don't like it I'd say WoW is one of the best. It keeps people into it for a long time. It's going to be around for a while.
My favorite is a game called "Golden Sun" for the GBA. Man. It was awesome and epic.
I'm gonna go back and play it now :P |

Portfolio Value: 0.000 Gain/Loss: 0.000 | am i mistaken or does oblivion, two worlds, and zelda NOT fall into the RPG category???.....im sorry but without the menu driven combat system, i fail to see why these games are RPG's, therefore you all fail, imo, sorry but thats me, they are adventure games.....maybe you could stretch it to say that they are adventure/rpg games, but in no way are they RPG games, Final Fantasy 7 is an RPG game, Blue Dragon is a RPG game, zelda and oblivion are not, so with that said, the best "RPG" of all time is arguably Final Fantasy 7, where the fuck is 4ng31, i would think that he might agree on this matter, not sure though.

Portfolio Value: 4,030.00 Gain/Loss: -1 | I was gonna say oblivion, but Dark sorta clarified it for us. Oblivion is the best action/rpg. My fav. RPG? Umm....well....I don't really play too many rpgs, but I remember Harvest moon was pretty cool. W/ Ness...

Portfolio Value: 0.000 Gain/Loss: 0.000 | I do agree that Zelda is an adventure game, not an RPG... but not TES.
Play Morrowind if you think TES isn't an RPG. TES has always been an RPG series, just because a combat system was added to Oblivion doesn't mean it's suddenly not an RPG anymore. Heck, if we take away the stats from any Japanese-style RPG, it'll just be a strategy game. How can you say it's an RPG? |

How can you say it's an RPG? | i did play Morrowind, and i still dont think its a RPG, it had a real time combat system, meaning that you press the button and it attacks immediately. to me that is not a RPG. just because it has SOME RPG elements does not make the game a rpg, i think the big think is the menu based combat system, thats what really makes a game a RPG. imo

Portfolio Value: 1,771.00 Gain/Loss: 0 | how does a menu combat system explicitly make it an RPG.
Forgive me for not playing all the japanese "RPG" games but what the hell are you talking about menu combat system. I probably know what it is, but I would like a clarification to try and see why these other games are not RPG's |
