Monthly payment for Phantasy Star Online?

well i preordered Phantasy Star online today and was told that there might be an extra monthly payment to play online? was wondering if this was true?

9.99 a month.

It's worth it though, they offer A LOT of quests available by download, not to mention special events (like holidays and such...).

The game is real fun, I think you will enjoy it, but i deleted it off my hard drive before I had to pay for it.

Well from what i know 4ng31 is right and for all that stuff it would be worth it. I will not be getting it though because im buying to many games soon that i want more and because im a cheap ass lol.

It's also 15$ if you live in Canada. And I'm not sure about the UK though.

Also chances are your going to get a 30 day trial with the purchase of the game. It's a guess but every other MMO (ever) has done it.

ya 10 bux a month not that bad if you have a job or a nice stash of money but other than that its stupid cuz a lot of other kickass games are comming out for the holidays and they are more worth your time and money...

I thought this was a lousy MMORPG, especially one for the 360, I personally wouldn't waste a dime on it, I might rent it for the achievements, but that's where I draw the line. Never mind paying an extra 10 bucks in addition to xbox live for this 1 game, I'll stick with the FPS games coming out.

You have to remember you played the beta, not the whole game. A LOT was left out from this game that will be included in the retail version. It's hard to explain to you guys, but I've been playing PSO from day 1 on the Dreamcast...so yeah, guess you can say I'm a PS fanboy...
