I'm sorry for the way it turned out, but only myself, Shushmo and yourself posted according to guidelines. Of those I wasn't about to award myself, so I withdrew my entry. Your link to your screenshot was broken, so I couldn't count your entry. Even if I could have counted yours, I would not have opened voting for two people, I just would have declared it a flop and there wouldn't have been any winner.
Just count it as practice and keep it in mind for next time. Be happy for Shushmo for now and hopefully next week will turn out better. It isn't easy to do it right when noone enters properly in the first place. | honestly, i think that pretty much sums it up right there.

I don't understand why there's a big deal. Rico explained perfectly what happened. It was his own fault for not making sure his link wasn't broken and that everything was in working order when he entered. It's nobody's responsibility but his own, considering he entered a contest.
If you were trading your million dollar ticket to win the lottery, you'd triple check to make sure you had the right information on there so you could collect your money, right?

Option 1 : Award the one person who submitted an entry in a proper format.
Option 2 : Allow all the entries and punish the one person who made the effort to submit properly.
Option 3 : Allow Woozy's entry with a broken link. Unfair to all the other entrants who didn't post the original screenshot.
From the entry thread, either not read, or not paid attention to by many : Quote:

You will still be responsible for checking on the links and making sure they stay operative.
Discussion or questions should not go in the entry thread.
be sure to disable your current signature in your post to avoid clutter and confusion.
| There were two qualified entries. I wasn't about to start a vote for just mine and Shushmo's, so I conceded. I will not always be able to contact people in time to warn them if there is a problem with their entry, so it is up to each individual to pay attention and be sure their entry qualifies.
