Yeah, definitely add something that pops out, the background looks like an orangish blur to me. And personally, after taking many art classes and being really interested in composition, things that are off center, even if just slightly, make for a better composition. Otherwise it's cool

She seems like the negative space, while the background is the positive, which is completely backwards. Make her pop out more, and maybe add some wavy lines somewhere, pointing to the focal point.
