Text is good but needs to be part of the sig. When you add text, merge the whole sig together...then add the text on top and then what you do it it, light/darken or emboss etc. wont effect everything else, this way you can alter it anyway to make it fit, then merge it all...Render also stands out a bit, but youre learning

Ok better but just see if you can try this,if you want that is.The render is now too dark but the bg is great.Erase the Darkness over the render.Do you have Cs2 because if you do than tell me so I can give you a few tips on how to make this thing really badass.I just want to help because I think you have a great sig here that just needs some minor tweaking to be perfect.

Nive then do this.Make a new layer and take a 45 pixel soft brush and brush over the render.Then set that layer to soft light and adjust the opacity till it looks good.If that doesn't work good then add a curves layer and play around with it.Or finally you could add a brightness/contrast layer and get similar results.I would try the first optin though,it should work good.After that use the 45 pixel soft brush eraser,set the flow and strenght to 50% and erase some of the edges randomly to blend the render in to the bg.Only erase unneccessary parts of the render though,don't erase his face or anything.Try that and let me know if that helps.

For some reason when I make a new layer then erase brush the render with a soft 45 px brush nothing happens, unless I'm doing something wrong.
EDIT: I think I got it now.

Coppied the render, set it to screen and lowered the opacity^^^
