Obtaining The Achievement
To receive the achievement for "1000 People Online" you must be in an online lobby. Here is a step by step process to get to where you need to be.

1. Start the game and log onto your profile.
2. When Tracy McGrady appears on the screen press start.
3. Go down the list and choose the "Online" option.
4. Then select "Online Game Modes".
5. Make sure the next thing you select is "Lobbies".
6. Finally you select a lobby and wait (or you can press Y to create your own lobby).

Then hopefully not too long after you enter the lobby you will see that beautiful achievement unlocked icon pop up.
