Ok I am having sort of a dilemma I can't decide if I should get all pro football or wait for madden. I have been a madden fanboy since 01, and ive had every madden game since but i have heard good previews about all pro football. The only thing I probably wouldn't like about it is that it has fake teams. Any opinions? or should I just say fuck it and get both...

All Pro is a new game, no previous ones. Madden is a fun reliable game to fall back on, I would stick with it. If you have the money, get both.

yeah I agree with getting Madden too...but i would definitely rent All Pro Football 2k8 to try it out and see if you like it yourself...getting both would consume much of your time to share for other games...you would have to look after two seasons and that may be frustrating especially with other games that you may have and not spend time with. I would go with madden not playing both of them myself just because it has a bigger roster, real players, real teams and a guaranteed strong support of online players

its franchise i heard is back and great (i mean the front office stuff and the customization like moving cities, etc.)

plus madden always gets better the next year so 08 will deffinetly be better than 07.

I'm starting to rethink my decision, I usually buy NCAA or Madden each year, but All Pro is looking kind of good... We get the best players to ever play the game on our teams (franchise much?) and it's not as nurfed out as EA makes Madden and NCAA, there is trash talk, it's actual football, not some sugar coded version of it.

I am getting All Pro. Madden has become stale, and needs a serious overhaul. Each year it's the same fucking game, with some new gameplay gimmick, and updated rosters. And people are stupid enough to buy it year, after year. 2K got it right before EA bought the NFL rights, because they don't like competition. Charge $20 for it, because what you are really paying for is updated rosters.
