I went and skated the demo area today since I don't think I had skated it really since the full game came out. I happened to get a pretty sick line while I was there.(Really starting to get the hang of those 360 flip noseslides)

I can really only see people who skate or used to skate really loving this game. It's a great game, but skating is the heart of it so if you aren't into that you can really only get so much fun out of it.

EDIT- I do however wear skate shoes. Maybe that's where I make the connection....

i used to skate... and still wear the shoes and some of the clothes.... this game i just so sick straight up.... just the idea that you use your joystick to do everything is amazing

I'm the same way, I used to skate and then just kinda faded into not doing it anymore even though I still love watching the vids and stuff. Thats what I love so much about this game is that it really captures the feeling of skating, having to do the same movements with the stick as you would with your feet. Now I just can't wait for skate. 2.
