West:
(1)Lakers vs. (8)Nuggets
(2)Hornets vs. (7)Mavericks
(3)Spurs vs. (6)Suns
(4)Jazz vs. (5)Rockets
East:
(1)Celtics vs. (8)Hawks
(2)Pistons vs. (7)76ers
(3)Magic vs. (6)Raptors
(4)Cavs vs. (5)Wizards
My predictions:
In the west the Lakers win nuggets,Hornets win Mavs,Suns win Spurs, and the Jazz win rockets. In the east the Celtics win hawks,Pistons win 76ers,Magic win Raptors, and the Wizards win Cavs(this was hard...because it all depends if lebron goes off or not. I think the cavs are worse then last year as a team).
In the second round the Jazz win Lakers(im from utah...yeah im biased), Suns win Hornets. In the east the Celtics win Wizards, and the pistons win Magic.
In the conference finals the Jazz win suns(again...from utah) and the Celtics win Pistons.
Jazz win finals(no u).
The thing is....any team from the west has a good chance at upsetting the other team. In the east....i can only see three teams getting to the finals(Celtics,Pistons,Cavs...again if lebron goes off). This is going to be one of the best nba playoffs ever(atleast in the west).
What are your predictions?

The only reason they play slow is because they are too old to play fast. Finley is old enough to be Larry Kings dad.

I dont think the Hornets have enough experience to win it all..they will go out 2nd round.
Celtics have the best shot at winning it in my opinion..they will probably sweet every series in their conference.
Im going to go with the Lakers in the West.

First round matchups are self explanatory, except I have the Raptors winning because Bosh is hungry to get out of the playoffs, and the Magic are their best matchup.
Second round matchups are the same, except I have the Suns winning over the Hornets because of playoff experience. Pretty much the entire core of the Suns has experience in the playoffs, when the Hornets do not. Suns will take this series.
Third round has Lakers and Celtics winning. Lakers have a too dominant team to allow the Suns to get past them. The only matchup the Lakers lack on is at centre with Shaq, but running the floor will kill that. Celtics have too much talent to loose to the Pistons. The Pistons have kept the same playstyle for years, and now teams have adapted to it. Pending injury on the Celtics, the Celtics will win this series.
In the finals, I have the Celtics ultimately taking it. Garnett and Allen are wayyyyy to hungry for a championship to loose this. Although Kobe has a lot to prove, the Celtics will take this series in 6 games.
