But really, its stupid to debate about most sports because they all require different skill sets. Some are based purely on athletic ability (i.e. running, swimming, cycling) with good coaching and technique but others are just terribly grueling. Really though, if one sport went away and all the pro athletes had dedicated their lives to doing the other one, probably very few would succeed in the other. The fact is, none of its easy, otherwise everyone would be doing it.
EDIT: and whitewater, NFL Europe is dead, it wasn't profitable. Its not like NFL Europe was full of europeans anyways, it was just americans that couldn't cut it in the NFL yet or ever. | |

Im in Turkey right now, and watched the game with turks on a huge screen ... and OMFG what's on the streets right now ... fireworks and music, cars honking, beer bottles breaking, people dancing and singing. it's amazing

People are happier when their national football team wins a game, than when their country wins a war or something .... soccer is HUGE in Europe.
