Sometimes when you post, it shows that. I belive its the little thing above your avatar. It represents the online/offline lines behind ur avatar and name, red meaning offline, green meaning online. If you refresh the page, the little .> will be gone and replaced by the green lines.

It just happens, its no glitch or anything. Its been around since the forum started. Just hit refresh, and its gone. Thats exactly what it is about.
