|  Help With My Xbox
When im playing on my xbox 360 within 5 minutes of turning it on my tv will make a weird noise and the screen will go weird like checkered lines all across the screen so i turn my xbox off and turn it bak on and it does it again but sooner so i unplugged it overnight turned it on again in the mornin and it did it again within 10 minutes can any 1 tell me whats rong or what i can do to fix it |

it doesn't sound like your xbox is the problem if it's your tv makeing the noise then it's more then likely going to be your tv thats the problem bro | |

nop my tv is fine i bought it just yesterday a 50 inch lcd high deff tv thanks tho o an ye i tuk my xbox bak an i got a brand new xbox in its place god i love microsoft | |

Because thats what it def sounds like to me. I have never heard of a 360 doing anything like this. I highly suggest checking the TV out first. Then if it truely is the 360 call 1-800-4my-xbox and they can help you get it repaired and what not.

If not, I would definitely say its a problem that lies within ur AV cables. Also check to see that it is set to the right tv type (normal or hd) | |

its not the tv guys its wat happens wen the box fucks itself mine used to do it the noise is bcoz he is playing his xbox on his tv u know sound come from box to tv duh lol

yeah, actually this happened to me. The checkered pattern across your tv means that your xbox is actually close to failing. Mine failed about a week after I had my first experience with the checkered freezing. Now, my Xbox is out of warranty, and they want me to pay $139 to get my Xbox fixed. Has anybody gotten around thi fee to get their Xbox fixed b/c that would be greatly appreciated, b/c I am not gonna pay to get mine fixed.
