This is really strange and I dont think it has ever happened to me before but when I play Gears of War and I use my wireless headset (Turtlebeach Wireless) my controller just turns off. I'll be playing and talking and then my controller turns off, right in the middle of battle. I've experimented in someways and I figured out that if I disconnect the cord to my headset and my controller and play then the controller wont turn off(werid). Are any of you people having the same problems as me? Do any of you have any solutions besides buying a new mic, headset.
your the first ive heard of and ive had no problems but you might want to try and change your batterys they might be shot, from recharging and stuff maybe changing them will fix it.
If your headset is running off your controller's juice, then it is most likely the batteries, try what hypnotic suggested. If not, I don't have the turtle beach, so I could only speculate.
im pretty sure the turtle beach wireless headsets run on batteries. its a nice/expensive headset so i wouldnt get rid of it. i would just try putting some new batteries in the controller or using the playncharge kit to see if that keeps it on
