Version 1.0
I will update this guide as frequently as I can, when I find things to add check back. I will post the update date and version at the top so you will know.
Well, even though in my eyes 30000 gamer-score isn't a lot and really isn't that big of an accomplishment, some people think it is, and some people like getting high gamer-score so basically here are some tips and things to get high gamer-score, or at least how I did it.
Some steps:
1. Don't get a game just to get points, get games that are fun, trust me, spending money on shitty games to get easy points is worse then getting a really fun kick ass game with tons of challenges and hard achievements, makes you feel like you did more, and did more for your money.
2. You don't have to get 1000 in every game you play, if you are like me and you love playing games, maybe pick up 2 games and just play them for a while, even if you end up with half the points in each game, you are still getting 1000 points added to your score.
3. Sometimes you will come across the hardest achievements possible, almost impossible, but don't give up there are tons of strats to follow and tips and trick to use to get them.
4. You don't have to finish a game, and you don't have to get all the points in one run, switch to different games over and over if you are getting bored of playing the same old thing all the time, it gets frustrating, I know because I played Sonic....
5. Ways to obtain games, if you want to get lots of games ask friends, you would be surprised at how fast you gain gamer-score when you trade games or lend games to friends, I know quite a bit of people that have lots of games and I always bring my tag to their house and play their games randomly for something to do, points build that way as well, you don't always have to pay for achievements. Even ask around for game codes, lots of people have extra UNO codes laying around, maybe you can have it.
6. A very important step, don't, and I mean don't spend tons of money for points its not worth it, I hear people recommending sports games and games like King Kong, don't go out and spend money to rent or buy these games, unless of course you were really looking forward to playing it. It is bad to waste money for a pointless number, yes it is pointless, but I still love it.
Some tips from myself:
Well there are many things you can do or figure out yourself, but here are some tips from me
1.Lots of games you can use friends, even those that is wrong and lame, meh do it anyway lol, just get some buddies and work on achievements together in specific games, help your friends out they help you
2.Online achievements, lots of games have online achievements, if you just want to get them as fast as possible host your own games, I was so amazed at how fast I got online achievements when people were joining my games, made me happy
3.Cheat.... nooo not that kind of cheating there is none on Xbox360, some games have cheat codes that you can enable during story modes, and you can still unlock achievements, some games that works for are, G.R.A.W. and Blazing Angels, there are more though, and no there is nothing wrong with using cheats in story modes, it only ruins your own fun no one else will be mad so cheers.
4. Rent the arcade game collection you get all the games up till dig dug I believe, and if you rent it, you will save lots of money and still get tons of achievement points.
5.Download free arcade games, Hexic, Texas Hold' Em and TotemBall are free, you can go download them, I think there is another one not sure, check it out, that can add 600+ to your score.
People to talk to:
Well there are many people that can help you if they are busy, I know lots of the people with the top gamer-score around, lots of the top people are sadly scammers, cheaters, and plain ol' assholes but here is a list of people that can help you if you need anything, just they do get their hands full at times.

Xbox360Achievements has lots of forums to find tips and get a hold of people to help you with games.
Major Nelson, although he can't help you in anyway with your gamer-score, he does a lot of podcasts and interviews, and will keep you up to date with arcade games and ohter marketplace content when it hits, so its a wonderful place to go often
