If you dont have a hardrive can you make a xboxlive account and play on line using the memory card?

Probably, because a memory card serves the same purpose as a harddrive, except much smaller. Who knows how much you'll be able to save, but I'm pretty sure a gamer profile could fit on it.

I have done this so the answer is yes. But you definitly should look at the hard drive. I mean what with all the downloads you can get.

I used to use the memory card but the hdd is so much more useful. Well worth the money.

Yeah man, definetly get the harddrive. Its well worth your 100 bucks, and 20 gigs can hold a shat load of stuff.

Ya if you have the money get the hdd. I mean one of my profiles is encroaching on teh memory card storage limit just from game saves.
