|  can i get something straighten.....
ok....from lots of people i heard xbox live on the 360 is free and you can play people online. a site i saw said xbox live was free for the 360 but you couldnt play people online you would have to pay to actually play online. How does live work for a silver account? |

silver account is free...however no online play... You must pay 50 $ for a year, to play online games..
Silver is just the basic stuff
EDIT: I believe silver accounts can play online, during the weekends....But i might be way off on that one...So don't quote me on that one | |

with a silver, its free, so you can download stuff, but it doesnt allow you to play online, you have to pay $50 a year bud....
@ silvers being able to play on weekends....i dont think so, but im not sure either
i have a gold, so i avoid any problems =), gold account makes me happy.

get a gold account. its will be the best $50 you ever spend (unless you get an 1/8 of some dank...)
serisouly, $50 for 12 months of online play is the way to go. its def worth it!!!

Some of it's free, some of it you need to pay for using "MS points," which you can buy with a Credit Card or at a store like Gamestop. I personally just got 5 bucks worth of points when I first bought my Xbox and haven't spent any points of icons or backgrounds since. Instead, I only spend points to download arcade games. There are some pretty fun arcade games, and they are worth the price, but some suck. You gotta look into what you buy before you buy. You can download free Trial versions of every arcade game before you buy them. |
