Its called the hypervisor hack, where you can run Linux, only on un-updated Oct 2005, and Nov 2005 manufactured Xbox 360s. I could do it on mine (hence mine is an Oct 2005 manufactured) but I updated mine for Xbox Live so they fixed that hole. Basically you get a profile from an updated console, put it on an un-updated console (XBOX LIVe puts all the achievements from every single game on every xbox live profile including retail, arcade games onto the profile. You then memory card transfer that profile to the hypervisored Xbox) where you then put in a few commands and it can unlock all the achievements for all the games that Xbox live has put on their servers.
