This has been bugging me since the day I bought my 360: the reputation system.
How it should work
I know the +rep/-rep is ment to increase/decrease the chances of matching up with someone in online matchmaking systems.
Does it work?
Do you guys feel like this is working? My experience is that it doesnt work at all:
- I keep getting matched up with the kids i chooce to 'avoid'. So when I avoid someone who has the tendancy to quit or someone who cheats, he gets multiple opportunities to fuck up my game again...
- The rep% dont affect your actual rep (the 5 stars?) at all. I've been from 80-20 to 30-70 to 60-40 but never have I lost a star...
- When you -rep someone with 3 stars, he actually gains in reputation...
- Hardly anyone gives you positive feedback unless you specifically ask for it, while people give you 'unsporting conduct' for simply beating them. I've had 'disruptive voice' twice while I didnt even had a headset b/c it was broken
