2 Questions Help Please :)

1st. I have a friend who has the HD-DVD player, it works with all movies except for 300? Liek wtf? He was just wondering if anyone else was having this problem or how to fix it.

2nd. I recently made a new XBL account, but for some reason I can't play any of the arcade games I previously owned?
