veteran was amazing...i beat the whole regular game in about 4 or 5 days...i have all the gs except mile high club, i still haven't really attempted it...

I beat CoD4 on hard and went back did the first few missions on veteran. I didn't give veteran much effort but it was somewhat challenging from what I remember.
On a side note, I beat CoD2 campaign on veteran back in the day!

The only part on veteran for me that was really hard was probably No fighting in the war room(or whatever the name of that mission is) and the epilogue(mile high club) the epilogue was a fuckin bitch. lol. took me atleast..2 hours.. >.< | |

In my opinion, veteran difficulty in CoD does not present a fair or entertaining challenge. When you die, it rarely feels as though you could have helped it by playing better, not to mention respawning enemies and being unable to aim once you get hit are incredibly bad game mechanics.
Hell, it's not as if I don't enjoy a challenge, I beat Ninja Gaiden on hard. In CoD though it just feels like you need to get lucky to win on veteran, rather than it being a direct result of your efforts. | |

Its trial by error b/c the spawn points and timing are generally the same and you just have to figure out when you can go out and when not to. |
