|  Transferring Gamertag to 360 from Xbox, then CHANGING IT
Ok, I want to know if it is possible to change your gamertag on your buddies 360. I don't own a 360, just a straight up xbox. Somebody told me that I could transfer my account to the 360 change my name, then it would change on my xbox as well? Is this true and if it is how? |

umm i dont know for sure. what happend to me was i changed my gt and then my xbox broke. so i went to play on my old 1 and it didnt work it said sumthing like that account wasnt active. so u could try but it may not b the smartest idea out there | |

that doesnt really sound possible unless you could transfer your gt to the 360 then change it and then transfer the new name to your memory card and i guess it would work like a new account but still your lvl's and everything? | |

Here's the deal.
Once the account is transferred to the 360, you can't bring it back to the Original.  lol, and Microsoft says that they "can't change XBL GTs on the Original anymore" which is bs so you're pretty much screwed. Go to Best Buy and get a 360, buddy. | |

hrm i thought you could change it on the 360 and then go to acct. recovery on your old box and recover, but the old GT.
EX. AMP YOUNGGUNNA changed to GUNNA
AMP is inactive, recover GuNNa from your box, thats what i heard
