more live options

i think you should be able to do more stuff with live, like go on real sites like google and stuff, check your emails and wach videos from sites like halo2forum.com, i mean seriously i can do all that stuff on my cell phone nowadays. i think xbox live shouldnt just be xboxlive, it should be more of a game console way to go on the internet. i mean seriously with the amount of money you spend for a 360 itshould be able to do alot more, but i have to admit getting popups and spyware and viruses on a gameconsole would suck too. still though i think they could expand a whole lot more on the whole internet aspect of it.

Well thats a good idea but it doesn't work that way.

Gaming systems (like the 360) are coded differently and therefore aren't affected by viruses. Also the 360 i'm sure if microsoft put it in could of had the capabilities of a computer but then think about it, hackers will be able to get in the 360. And modding on the 360 would develop and well ppl would just be cheating, or they'll hack your 360 like they do with computers and f'em up.

Yea sure let's throw all that in and have the 360 cost $600.00 for the core system. This is a GAME console, not a personal computer. Adding in those features would jack up the price for no reason. XBOX live is only supposed to be a place for XBOX related things. If you make it just the internet then essentially your paying all that money for a computer.

maybe it would be cool if they came out with there own internet type of thing where you can only connect to there network and it will all be xbox related websites

Thats a good point, your 360 would get so messed up from the internet and hackers, now thats no fun

yeah i agree, then theres no point of getting a game console you should just get a comp
