Ok guys, I have traded in my ps2 and all of its games with my ds and got $355 (worked out pretty good ) and now I am wondering, does the 360 Premium come with Xbox live gold? AND can I transfer my old accounts like I would on a normal xbox?... Thanks.
P.S.- Sorry if this seems noobish, I don't know anybody with a 360...

No I dont think ur Xbox 360 Premium system comes with a Xbox Live Gold 12 monthsubscription. I had to buy it seperately for $50 plus tax at a gamestore. Do u mean id u could transfer over your xbox account to Xbox 360? Yeah you can. When you hook up ur Xbox 360 click tranfer old account or w/e and just follow the steps

To use XBL you would need a hard drive, and the core 360 pack doesn’t have that. You would have to buy it separately, same with a headset. I don’t think it comes with a coupon for XBL gold though.

By just inputting some info onto your 360 you can transfer your old gamertag to your 360. Takes 10 min tops.

Actually, all you need is a memory card, which I would recommend so you could take your account with you to other people homes if you have friends with 360's.

And no, the premium doesn't come with Xbox Live...but you do get 1 free month if you aren't a live subscriber already. And yes, you can transfer your old Xbox account over to 360...it's exactly what I did.

yea I would suggest getting the premium because it comes with everything you need (headset, wireless controller, harddrive, high def cords, chrome plating?).

And yea u can tranfer accounts most people do that...

Maybe once you get it u'll be able to get mad ninja assasinations in doa4 like me..

Okay, here's the deal.


Buy the premium. It's worth it. Don't listen to any bullshit about the memory card shit and stuff. Hard drive will work best. Buy a memory card later. Plus the premium comes with all the stuff you need for a good online gaming experience. If you get the Core and then buy all the stuff added to it, it WILL COST MORE!

Now. Do you have an XBL account? Do you want to start over, new friends list and all. You don't have to worry about gamerpoints, but you might still be a Gaylo2 player and care about those worthless numbers next to your name. If you don't give a shit, get a new account with a NEW EMAIL ADDRESS! You get 1 month free added. And I don't think you're too poor to pay a bargain $50 for a whole year. If you want to keep your account because you're
a) lazy
b) love your Gaylo2 ranks
c) it's easier financially and what not...

hook your new XBox360 to the internet and do XBL account recovery and the steps will follow with you info being needed in the process.

Oh, and get PDZ as your first game.

I got myne today, and I found out its quite a pain to recover an account ( I didnt have a passport account) so I ended up typing in my info like 3 times over and over and over and over ....
